How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The DMS Operation Specialist will help provide oversight & coordinate inventory analytics and projects.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports.
- Provide oversight and guidance to inventory projects
- Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics.
- Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.
- Provide SAP Training to support teams, and provide assistance with transactions
- Troubleshoot SAP errors and perform system transactions.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant professional working experience
- Good computer skills.
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Prior experience with MS Office , SAP, or other ERP knowledge.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles. Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
