How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The DMS Operation Specialist will help provide oversight & coordinate inventory analytics and projects. 

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports. 
  • Provide oversight and guidance to inventory projects
  • Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics.
  • Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.
  • Provide SAP Training to support teams, and provide assistance with transactions
  • Troubleshoot SAP errors and perform system transactions.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant professional working experience 
  • Good computer skills.
  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • Prior experience with MS Office , SAP, or other ERP knowledge.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles. Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
